V-N-S-A! V-N-S-A! Whoo!

The books are coming! The largest in-person book sale is happening this February in Phoenix, and we couldn’t be more excited. This is a great opportunity to look for those rare and collector edition books you’re been on the hunt for (and we’ve been on the hunt for), as well as classics, old and new books alike for extremely affordable prices.

Wait, you’re a bookstore – isn’t this promoting the competition?

Sure, a little bit, but we believe in supporting the community and the opportunity to physically go shop for books. All proceeds go towards local Phoenix-area charities and is completely run by volunteers. And really, there’s plenty of books to go around.

Tips

If you’ve been before, you know to expect long lines – the occupancy limits are regulated and there’s lots for people to see. Bring water and portable chairs or get there early to handle the crowds. This event is held at the state fairgrounds and if you want to park there is a fee. Fortunately, the event itself is free to get in. They hand out maps of the general layout of the building, showing how they grouped books by category, but there is no list of what is actually for sale. That’s part of the fun! What will you find there this year?

Hope to see you all there!
